New Mexican, Progressive, and a proud product of NM public schools. My mother has served as a public school teacher for over 30 years and my father is a plumber and contractor. I learned the values of hard work and community service at a young age and I am looking to bring these values to District 2.
My background includes advocacy for immigrant communities, environmental law, at-risk youth, and serving as an economic development specialist to keep young New Mexicans and local business here in New Mexico.
I decided to run for City Council because we deserve a user-friendly, representative, equitable city government. The next four years of decisions on City Council will determine the next twelve years for our city in public safety, alleviating homelessness, and keeping our businesses and jobs local. Let’s change the narrative and create a new chapter for our neighborhoods, District, and City!
